PAIN IN THE NECK
(DC, ACUPUNCTURE, TRACTION THERAPY, TRIGGER POINT THERAPY, OIL PULLING, HOMEOPATHICS)
Lucy is a 54 year old cardio-thoracic surgeon. She started with pain in her neck after long heart surgeries about 15 years ago. After work, the neck was so stiff she often could not turn her head enough to put her car in reverse getting out of a parking space.
Like most doctors, she treated herself with Motrin, massage, and yoga. Her neck pain was interfering with her ability to do daily tasks as well as interfering with her performance during surgery.
Although she was skeptical at first, Lucy began receiving chiropractic manipulation at MHW which immediately restored her neck flexibility. Traction therapy and trigger point therapy were added to her neck regimen as were acupuncture, and massage. With our recommendations she began some homeopathies and oil pulling at home.
Lucy has almost no neck pain today and never takes Motrin; however, she continues maintenance chiropractic manipulations and massage especially after long surgeries.
Lucy feels best after chiropractic treatments followed by trigger point therapy. She has been heard to say,
"If l had this machine at home, I would never leave the house."
