Ozone Therapy

What Is Ozone Therapy?
Ozone Therapy is the use of medical grade ozone, a highly active form of pure oxygen, to create a curative response in the body. The body has the potential to renew and regenerate itself. When it becomes sick it is because this potential has been blocked. The reactive properties of ozone stimulate the body to remove many of these impediments, thus allowing the body to do what it does best – heal itself.

Ozone Therapy has been, and continues to be, used in European clinics and hospitals for over fifty years. It was even used here in the United States in a limited capacity in the early part of the 20th century.

Ozone Therapy was introduced into the United States in the early 80’s, and has been increasingly used in recent decades. It has been found useful for various health issues.

What Can Ozone Do?
Since oxygen is so fundamental to why people get sick and how the body heals, ozone therapy has been found to be useful for many conditions including: heart disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, herpes, hepatitis, interstitial cystitis, diabetes, Lyme disease, chemical sensitivity, macular degeneration, intestinal disorders, and auto-immune disorders and more.

Using medical grade ozone can oxygenate your cells while detoxifying your body of harmful day to day toxins, increasing your body’s ability to do what it does best, fight infections, fight disease, fight allergens, repair muscles and more.

Ozone can:

  • Activate the immune system in infectious disease cases.

  • Improves the cellular utilization of oxygen that reduces ischemia in cardiovascular diseases, and in many of the infirmities of aging.

  • Cause the release of growth factors that stimulate damaged joints and degenerative discs to degenerate.

  • Dramatically reduce or even eliminate many cases of chronic pain through its action on pain receptors.

  • Published papers have demonstrated its healing effects on interstitial cystitis, chronichepatitis, herpes infections, dental infections, diabetes, and macular degeneration.

How Is Ozone Administered?
At DOCS we offer several ozone therapies.

Major Autohemotherapy (MAH) $250: This therapy requires that blood be drawn from the body. It is mixed with saline and then ozone gas is bubbled into the mixture. It is then returned back into the patient through an IV. It can be given as a one-time treatment, as in the case of acute illness, or in a series of multiple treatments, as in the case of autoimmune illness, chronic fatigue, or inflammatory conditions.

Ear Insufflation $50: Ear insufflation involves ozone bubbled through olive oil and the gas slowly entering your ear canal through a modified stethoscope.

For both adults and children, one of the most common illnesses is ear pain or ear infection. There are different types of ear infection, but acute otitis media or middle ear infection seems to be the most prevalent of all. In some cases, some people are more at risk of getting an ear infection due to their actions or occupation. Ozone ear insufflation is an effective treatment for this.

Sinus Insufflation $50: Sinus Insufflation involves ozone bubbled through olive oil (creating ozonides) and then breathing the gas through your nose using a canula. Breathing ozonide can help treat a wide range of respiratory disorders such as allergies, asthma, bronchitis, and congested sinuses.

Rectal Insufflation $75-$100: Rectal insufflation entails the introduction of medical ozone through the rectal cavity. The procedure is completely painless, minimally invasive, and highly effective. Experts believe that rectal ozone insufflation is 95% as effective as autohemotherapy.

The main benefit of rectal insufflation is its ability to oxygenate the whole body by increasing the oxygen levels in the gut and liver.

Rectal Insufflation is considered one of the oldest and most systemic forms of ozone therapy. Its biological effects have been widely researched and experimented clinically.

It has been proven to be helpful in treating many diseases and is being viewed as a viable alternative to major ozone autohemotherapy (MAH), especially when MAH cannot be performed due to unfavorable vein conditions. It is also known that ozone rectal insufflation can ward off and fight various infections and other associated medical conditions.

Vaginal Insufflation $75-$100: Vaginal insufflation entails the introduction of medical ozone via the vagina. It is most often used for vaginal infections and is known to help in the treatment of yeast and bacterial vaginal infections, as well as pain in the vagina, labia, and pelvis.

Limb Bagging $75: Limb-bagging introduces topical ozone gas directly to an affected area of the skin. A limb, such as an arm or leg, is covered with a plastic bag which is filled with ozone gas through a small opening in the bag.

This application is helpful in the treatment of many types of topical infections including:

  • Diabetic ulcers

  • Onychomycosis (fungal nail infection)

  • Athlete’s foot

  • Tinea versicolor

  • Bacterial Infections

  • Wound healing

Ozone’s anti-microbial effects have been found to be quite effective for treating infections of the skin and nails in clinical research. Fungal infections of the nails have responded better to ozone treatment than standard medical treatment, as well the skin ulcers showing a significant improvement.

Special Ozone Package: 10 Ozone IVs for $2000.
